Project description

The HEIDI project focuses on improving skills recognition, career preparation, and employability among adult immigrants. By using state-of-the-art digital tools and promoting strong partnerships, HEIDI bridges the gap between individuals, employers, and communities, thereby promoting integration and long-term success.

The overall objective of the project is to prepare and integrate adult immigrants into the labor market by recognizing their skills and providing support in line with EU employment guidelines.

The specific objectives of the project are:

• Use digital platforms to improve skills assessment capabilities to ensure a comprehensive understanding of individual abilities.
• Further development of soft skills to adapt to the dynamic requirements of the labor market through career support measures.
• Networking of committed stakeholders, including education centers, career counselors, employers, government agencies, and immigrant associations.
• Implementation of strategies to promote the integration and inclusion of adult immigrants into the labor market.
• Cooperation with public sector institutions to improve their capacity to support the integration and inclusion of immigrants.

The outcome of the HEIDI project will be a digital platform where highly skilled immigrants, adult educators, career counselors, and employers can come together with the common goal of improving the employability of these immigrants.
